Web app URL: the url of the web page displayed when the app launches2. Result variable: The string that is replaced by the barcode content. It is important this variable be present in your hyperlink for the barcode result to be returned. For example, you can set it as < barcode > . The scanned barcode result will be replaced in the hyperlink. It is highly recommended to use < > with word inside as using a word may result in undesirable results.Hyperlink syntaxScan2web uses a custom hyperlink protocol. Instead of http we substitue "scan2web".s c a n 2 w e b : / / www.scan2web.us / product.php ? result =< barcode >Scan2web will automatically switch "scan2web" to "http" and update < barcode > the result of the scan. The resulting URL will be something similar to h t t p : / / www.scan2web.us / product.php ? result = 978123124192You can include as many other parameters in your hyperlink URL as you like. They will be included in the return URL. Only the result variable will be changed in the URL.
