My wife and I thank you for choosing Let's Learn Everyday Chinese: I Speak Chinese, (for kids 10 and under). Born native to Taiwan and having lived on both sides of the Pacific for a long time, my wife and I both feel that language is truly the gateway to cultures.
Our goal is to let kids happily familiarize the most common but important Chinese words with just 5-10 minutes per session per week and to open the door of Eastern wisdom and logic to them directly.
How:
While we value traditional techniques of memorizing phrases and classic texts, this app simplifies the learning by first focus on common but important single characters. Later or in parallel, if kids have more interest they can learn phrases, sentences, paragraphs and classic texts and essays.
What:
With both immersion and touch play, not only does I Speak Chinese cover 1 in 6 words anywhere (tv, books, conversations, or billboards), it also covers both simplified (used in China and Singapore) and traditional (used in Hong Kong and Taiwan).
Value:
With I Speak Chinese, your kid can learn once and use them anywhere everyday Chinese is spoken and written. It is a new method. It is also high leverage learning method and a great starting point to learn Chinese for anyone.

•Touch to pronounce (professionally voiced by my wife, Mei Mei Chen, a long time grade school language teacher)
•Parents can also help pronunciation using the phonetic overlay
•stop time: when the score nears 50, a sound will appear to let users know that it is near a good time to stop and rest.
B) Immersive Play
•One of the best way to learn Chinese is to simply listen
•Two modes (play and double play) is provided.
•Touch anywhere to change starting point.
•The auto play loops infinitely until stopped.
•Stop anytime to return to touch learning
C) Word Recognition
