The game consists of various dots appearing on the screen, where the dots behave differently in each level. You must put one finger on each dot simultaneously for the level to advance.
While the app is universal (it works on the iPod touch, iPhone, and iPad), the game is most enjoyable on an iPad because the larger screen space allows for many more fingers to be in play at once. This just isn't possible on the smaller devices, so the number of fingers is limited.
